Why work at TTCS and move to Santa Fe?

I love the school, I love the people, I love the families
The kids are the best!
The kids are the reason I would always come back
the teachers really make the school special. It is full of educators who love what they are doing, love the community, love the kids.
From Melissa martinez, a kindergarten teacher, parent and alumni!
What I love about TTCS is the diversity of our community. TTCS has a rural charm, yet pulls in and celebrates the vast and rich cultures of those who are native to New Mexico and those who have chosen “The City as their home. All members of the Coyotes Community help to foster growth, awareness and inclusivity by learning and working together as well as honoring each other’s array of individual contributions.

The teachers are the best here! They really want all of us to be our best and help us all the time.

I love so much about Santa Fe! The culture, the history, the places to visit and explore, the events, the arts, the food. Las Golondrinas is one of my family’s favorites. We go to many of the events held there, such as the Renaissance Fair, Harvest Festival and Spirits of the Dead celebration, and always take visiting friends and family to walk around the grounds.
Bonus! My children get to attend TTCS and I get to work here! We are a family, or pack as we like to call ourselves. My children are learning to have a sense of pride in their education and how to take responsibility for how they want it to go and where they want it to take them.
So many great outdoor activities!
Santa Fe is nestled in the mountains which means there are plenty of hiking, biking and walking trails. Outdoor enthusiasts can find any number of activities here including camping in Hyde State Park, about a 20 minute drive from downtown; white water rafting; skiing the slopes in the ski basin, about a 30 minute drive.
the history!
The historical plaza: radiating from the four-centuries old Palace of the Governors, the most historic area of the city is completely walkable, with quaint winding streets featuring charming boutiques, restaurants, bookstores and art galleries tucked into every block. Aspects of the past remain in the look and feel of the traditional Spanish Plaza, including a certain flavor of the Old West and the time-honored tradition whereby local Native artisans sell their amazing creations beneath the portal of the Palace of the Governors.
the food!
Besides having it’s own amazing culture of food actually called ‘New Mexican’ that almost always includes green chilis, Santa Fe has excellent food choices from all over the world!
as santa feans like to say:
We have 360 days of sun!
