Mollie is the President and Founder of The K12 Search Group. She is a passionate education reformer who has been recruiting in the sector since 2001, longer than any of her direct competitors. Since creating The K12 Search Group in 2007, Mollie has worked with many high-performing charter school operators and education reform organizations around the country to help them recruit executive talent into their organizations.
Prior to founding The K12 Search Group, Mollie led recruitment at The Broad Center, a nonprofit organization created by businessman and philanthropist Eli Broad to attract and train talented leaders to work in charter schools and urban school systems. Mollie was the first full-time staff member hired to oversee all recruiting activities for the Center’s two leadership development programs: The Broad Superintendents Academy, a ten-month competitive fellowship to prepare professionals to run large urban school systems, and The Broad Residency, a two-year placement program for rising leaders in a large urban school system or CMOs. She designed and managed the entire annual selection and admissions process for both programs.
Mollie holds a BA from Brigham Young University and an MA from Marymount University. She is a dedicated advocate for improving educational outcomes in underserved communities and has served on the boards of two charter schools. She is currently on the board of Great Minds, the creator of high quality curricula, Eureka Math and Wit & Wisdom.
Mollie has lived in Washington, DC, Denver, and Los Angeles. She currently splits her time between Austin, TX and Santa Fe, NM and hikes with her golden retrievers as much as possible.
