Justin Schroer is an experienced nonprofit professional and currently serves as the Director of Development at Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Born in Indiana and raised in Albuquerque, Justin attended Cibola High School before earning his undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of New Mexico. After building a diverse career across various sectors including television and radio, financial services, and university athletics, Justin returned to school to earn his Masters of Business Administration from The University of New Mexico, graduating from the Robert O. Anderson School of Management. In addition to his professional career, Justin is deeply committed to community-building. He and his wife, Jen, embraced an entrepreneurial venture by purchasing Tumbleweeds Magazine, a longstanding Santa Fe family publication. Through this, they work to keep close to the pulse of the family-centered community, fulfilling the magazine’s mission of connecting families to resources and to each other, in every neighborhood.
Justin and Jen met while working at California State University, Fresno, and married in 2011 at Huntington Lake, CA. Together, they raise two children—Ryker Reed (6) and Aviva (4)—who both attend Turquoise Trail Charter School. The Schroer family loves exploring the outdoors of northern New Mexico, and Justin stays active by playing tennis, golf, and engaging in other forms of exercise.
