Floyd Trujillo
President
Floyd J. Trujillo, a native Santa Fean, has served as the Director of Information Technology for the New Mexico Finance Authority for more than five years. Floyd has worked in IT for more than 20 years, both in the Public and Private Sector. He worked with the NM Department of Health as a Network Administrator, IT Bureau Chief, and Chief Security Officer for the Department. Floyd has also worked with L1 Identity Solutions and Tri-Core Reference Laboratories, and is also a partner in the IT consulting firm Eclipse IT Solutions.
Floyd's involvement with Turquoise Trail Charter School began in 1997 when his son Alexander started Kindergarten. Floyd has served on the Governance Council for more than 18 years, and has been involved in every one of the schools charter renewals. He served as President of the Governance Council from 2000 – 2006, as well as Treasurer from 2008-2011. Floyd is currently the President of the
Governance Council as well as President of the TTCS Foundation, the school's fund-raising organization.
Floyd is committed to the charter school movement and has worked with charter leaders across the state to strengthen charter schools. He strongly believes that parent and community involvement in schools is necessary to ensure that New Mexico’s children receive the best education possible.
